GREAT IFE BREAD IS BACK, PRO CHANCELLOR DONATED 5,000 BREAD TO STUDENTS

GREAT IFE BAKERY IS BACK! DISTRIBUTE FREE 5,000 BREAD TO STUDENT

The office of the welfare secretary Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife Students Union in association with the manager and workers at Creative Bread has agreed to give 5,000 loaves of bread out to students across the 8 OAU Hall of Residence which includes Akintola Hall, Fajuyi Hall, Moremi Hall, Alumni Hall, ETF Hall, Awo Hall, Mozambique Hall and Angola Hall of residences respectively, without leaving Muritala Muhammad Postgraduates Hall and Maintenance Hall.

Our correspondence in his interrogation today with the Angola Hall chairman Comrade S&T, today claimed that Greatife Bread was in vogue when he resumed as a part 1 student in 2019 but it was quite unfortunate that Greatife Bread vanished during the Covid-19 break and Greatife Bread is nowhere to be found after the resumption.

But a month ago, he was able to gather the information that the Greatife Bread will resurrect soon, so the school management alongside Students Union Welfare officer Dada Arafat popularly known as Holistic Welfarist held a meeting last week and it was concluded that the bread (5,000 loaves) should be distributed in two batches, today 6th, April 2023 and 7th, April 2023 respectively (2,500 per day).

The distribution today was anchored by the welfare officer Dada Arafat across all halls of residence. The second Batch according to S&T will take another form tomorrow as to the fact that all students are expected to gather at Akintola Hall of the residence car park by 5 pm, the bread package tomorrow will come with àkàrà (beans cake)

Comrade S&T believed that the bread giveaway will bring to the awareness of all students that "GREAT IFE BREAD IS BACK" and henceforth the bread will be circulated across all butteries in OAU.
