ROAD BLOCKAGE; OAU STUDENTS STRANDED

Following the widespread news circulating Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife campus about the death of a final year student of the Department of Civil Engineering identified as Okoli Arinze.

The  Technology and Engineering Students Association (TESA) of the Faculty of Technology has reacted to this by engaging in a peaceful protest by blocking all roads that led to the university and restricting the movements of vehicles moving to and fro campus holding placards with  #JUSTICEFORARINZE in their hands.

This blockage denied students living outside campus from gaining access to activities on campus today.

Many students missed their respective lectures as a result of this, and some were seen trekking to and fro at the time of gathering this news.
